The Inland
Northwest Wildlife Council is the largest independent wildlife organization
in the state of Washington and a partner of the Washington Wildlife
Federation.The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission meets several times
annually throughout the state to establish seasons, bag limits, and
additional wildlife resource regulations. The executive director of the
Inland Northwest Wildlife Council attends these meetings and represents
the voice of the INWC.
The Inland Northwest Wildlife Council maintains contact with both State and Federal
legislative bodies and government agencies. The INWC provides a strong voice for the
sportsmen/ sportswomen of the Inland Northwest.
The Inland Northwest Wildlife Council meets with other clubs
and organizations to discuss legislative, regulatory, and other proposals of mutual concern.
The Inland Northwest Wildlife Council supports the ideal of the coexistence of business and industry
along with wildlife, while recognizing that wildlife is a multi-billion dollar industry in the State of
Washington.
The Inland Northwest Wildlife Council has many committees that represent
all aspects of sporting concerns and wildlife management. Through the committees,
all grass roots discussions and groundwork on current issues are developed and presented to
the Board of Trustees and to the general membership. All Council members are very welcome and
encouraged to attend any committee or Board meeting.
